Mail and other accounts.
The exchange you had with your coworker sometime between November and December of last year. The receipts from your last business trip. The itinerary your mom sent you from one of her four email accounts.
What do all of these messages have in common? That’s right, they’re likely lost somewhere deep in your inbox and attempting to locate them will be painful.
Email search is, by all accounts, a mess. Half the time you do a quick search and the results aren’t applicable to what you were looking for. We’ve also integrated our much loved Assistant functionality with search so you can see important details without ever leaving your search screen.
Everything from restaurant reservations to flight information can be accessed with a tap, as we populate your search screen with the details you need. In addition, even before you begin to type in a search term, any upcoming plans from reservations to travel bookings can be found at the very top of the search screen which is a godsend on busy days.
What sets our search apart
We further beefed up our algorithm to recognize when one sender has been emailing you from multiple different accounts. Whenever you’re searching for a specific individual’s name, you’ll be presented with all their email addresses grouped together. This way you’re able to select the entire group and see all the messages they’ve sent you in one place.
Lastly, do you remember if your friend sent you that message to your personal or work email? Are you pretty sure they sent you the message after July but no later than last week?
Sometimes you’re not 100% certain which account your friend sent her resume to and you’re also not sure whether they sent it last week or last month. Sometimes using just one search filter doesn’t cut it.
