Never Overpay When Shopping: Edison Mail Price Alert Arrives on Android To Get You Cash Back
Email app monitors your frequently shopped online stores to get refunds on recent purchases, if the price drops.
Edison Mail’s new Price Alert for Android monitors online price changes at top retailers throughout the USA that have price match policies in place, like Nike, Walmart, Target, and many others.
Once enabled, the app will track your purchases and watch for a price drop of more than $1.00, and alert you of potential cash back deals.
According to a recent study, approximately 79% of smartphone users have shopped on their mobile devices within the last 6 months. With over 44% of smartphone users in the U.S. using Android devices, that’s a lot of Android shoppers searching for deals and good prices. Which is why we’re proud to announce that Price Alert has arrived on Android! With this new update, Android users don’t need to worry about losing out on cash back offers from dozens of stores that take part in price matching.
Here’s how it works: once you authorize Price Alert to monitor prices, all you have to do is shop like you normally would. As long as the price matching retailer sends an e-receipt with a link to the item purchased, Price Alert will be able to monitor the prices. Price Alert works in the background — alerting you if there’s been a price drop of more than $1.00 on a recently purchased item. Once Price Alert detects a price drop, Edison Mail will send you a pre-filled email draft to request a refund for the difference — all you need to do is press send. Continuing a Year of Innovations
Throughout 2019, Edison Mail has added new features to help Android users have a better email experience.
