How to Login in Cornell email
To log in to your Cornell email account, follow these steps:
Go to the Cornell University login page at https://login.cornell.edu/
Enter your Cornell NetID and password in the appropriate fields, and then click "Log In".
Once you are logged in, you will be taken to the Cornell Central Authentication Service (CAS) page. From here, you can click on the "Email" icon to access your email account.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the Cornell email login page at https://outlook.office.com/ and log in with your Cornell NetID and password.
If you have any problems logging in, you can contact the Cornell IT Service Desk for assistance.
How to reset your password in Cornell email
If you need to reset your password for your Cornell email account, you can do so by following these steps:
Go to the Cornell University login page at https://login.cornell.edu/
Click on the "Forgot Password" link.
You will be taken to the password reset page. Enter your Cornell NetID and the email address associated with your account.
Click the "Submit" button. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
If you do not have access to the email address associated with your account, or if you are having difficulty resetting your password, you can contact the Cornell IT Service Desk for assistance. They will be able to help you reset your password and regain access to your account.
How to delete all emails in Cornell email
To delete all emails in your Cornell email account, follow these steps:
Log in to your email account at https://outlook.office.com/ or by following the steps I provided in my previous response.
Once you are logged in, click on the "Inbox" folder in the left-hand panel to view your emails.
At the top of the email list, click the checkbox to select all of the emails in the list.
Click the "Delete" button at the top of the email list. This will delete all of the selected emails.
If you want to delete all of the emails in your account, you will need to repeat this process for each folder in your account (e.g. "Sent," "Deleted Items," etc.).
If you have a large number of emails and you want to delete them more quickly, you may want to consider using the "Empty Folder" option. To do this, right-click on the folder you want to delete and select "Empty Folder" from the menu. This will delete all of the emails in the selected folder at once.
Keep in mind that deleting emails is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Be sure to only delete emails that you no longer need or want.
How to block spam in Cornell email
To block spam in your Cornell email account, follow these steps:
Log in to your email account at https://outlook.office.com/ or by following the steps I provided in my previous response.
Open the spam email that you want to block.
Click the "Mark as spam" button at the top of the email. This will move the email to your "Junk Email" folder and block future emails from the same sender.
If you want to block emails from a sender who is not sending you spam, but whose emails you do not want to receive, you can create a rule to block their emails. To do this:
Click the "Settings" icon at the top of the screen and select "View all Outlook settings" from the menu.
In the "Mail" section, click the "Rules" tab.
Click the "Add new rule" button.
In the "From" field, enter the email address of the sender you want to block.
In the "Do the following" field, select "Delete it" from the drop-down menu.
Click the "Save" button to create the rule.
This will block all future emails from the specified sender and delete them automatically.
Keep in mind that blocking emails is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Be sure to only block emails from senders that you do not want to receive any emails from.
